Carolina's Goulash Soup

Goulash soup recipe - 6 people

  • 1KG stew meat
  • 2 red peppers (large diced)
  • 2 green peppers (large diced)
  • 2 white onions (large diced)
  • ¼ Cup sweet paprika
  • ¼ Cup smoked paprika
  • ¼ Cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp caraway seeds
  • 700 GR. Canned roma tomatoes
  • 100 GR. Tomato paste
  • 1 LT water
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Heat up 3 tbsp of canola oil in a pot. Start sautéing onions and peppers. Add meat, salt and pepper and let the meat have a nice brown sear. Add the remain of the ingredients and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes on low heat or until meat is tender. Serve with chopped green onions, Parsley or sour cream.
